Terms of use
Test version. Last updated October 8, 2026.
Draft. These terms describe the EMARU test version. They are not final legal text and will be reviewed before public release.
What EMARU does
EMARU lets you send alerts and your location to family members you chose, and lets them reply. The seller is Callume Information Technology Services.
What EMARU does not do
- EMARU does not contact the police, an ambulance, a fire service or any emergency service.
- EMARU is not a replacement for calling your local emergency number.
- We do not guarantee that an alert will arrive, or arrive on time. Delivery depends on internet access, working notifications, battery, phone settings and the other person seeing it.
Test version
- The test version may have bugs, change, or stop working without notice.
- Do not rely on it as your only way to get help.
- If an alert cannot be sent, the app shows that on screen. Do not assume it was received unless the app says so.
Using it responsibly
- Only add people who agree to be in your family and to share their location.
- Do not use EMARU to track someone who has not agreed.
- Do not send false emergency alerts on purpose.
